Look of my truck.

As far as the grille, you are the first guy I have ever seen wanting to swap back over to the old grille setup. Going with your style front clip on an older truck is very popular.

heck, I'd even trade you clips!:wink1:

You can make that 89-91 grille look really nice with the right parts catalog, have you looked into that?

Can you provide some nice looking options to making the new clip look good like yours?

Is Bogger the brand or just the type of tire? Who made the tire as I'm looking for that exact tire. :P

mine has a pretty beefy brushguard. it just covers the grille, not the headlights, but it is definitely functional and looks tough. plus, i have my offroad lights mounted to it. the truck in the pic is nice, but those little fog lights don't do it for me.

one mod i don't like, and i know i'm stepping on toes here, is the visor thing some people put above the windshield is the truck supposed to be wearing a baseball cap? ha.

Get yourself an LMC catalog. www.lmctruck.com

Um, a bogger would be a Super Swamper, haven't been into this 4x hobby long huh?;)

It seems you have a fair amount of interest in some of the stuff I have done with my k5, call me if you want, 209-495-1212.

Here's another front end shot of the style you are interested in.

Got aim or email? My parents would kill me with the phone bill :P.

I don't do, AIM, much Email, or texting. I can say more things in 10 seconds than you can do in 5 minutes with that stuff.

I have free long distance, hit me with the call so I get your number and can call back, if you want of course.

Mind if I give you a call later on tonight? I'm going to go out and change my fuel filter right now actually. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=201209

Can anyone post pictures of nice looking front grill setups with the quad lighting? I have yet to see a good setup that I like and I've browsed the LMC catalogs and stuff.

1990k5fan, you asked for a pic...here's one at BMRA in 2005. obviously, this is pre-offroad lights. i mounted them on the light tabs (no-brainer) on the brushguard. i have them nestled back a little for protection. that guard has plenty of battle scars and touchup paint from my fun. it's pretty tough. it bolts to the frame, too. hard to tell from the pic. slightly bigger and much more aggressive tires and a 4" lift are in the near future.

They are Weld Racing Scorpio V's, 16.5x14" on 35x16 Boggers. I had a hard time finding these wheels in that size, as Weld will will run a certain size and style for so long and then shut down until stock deminishes.

Weld is now owned by American Racing and as far as I know the 14" wide wheels in the 16.5" flavor are discontinued. Infact, I think most 14" widths are done for in the Weld line.

Look on Ebay and your local paper for the 14's, maybe even my area. There was a ton of us back in the day running these wheels and are still floating around, the only problem is they are a hot commodity around here in my area, I've had over a dozen offers made by guys I know wanting my rims that have chromed out late model street queens.

Those rims are going to be impossible to find. I've searched ebay, all the california craigslist and google.
Are there any other rims that look similar to those?
