I can never remember, but is the slightly thicker shoe supposed to go on the front, in which case yours might be reversed? Hard to tell from the pic. It's been YEARS since I did drums, so I could be totally wrong.

Longer shoe (secondary shoe) goes towards the rear.
Little coil sping goes here to lift udjuster arm back up. Shoes are correct.
put it in right after I snap the picture and said watch someone call me out on it.
