Awesome man. The big brown truck has been bringing me presents lately too, but more on that this weekend. You "need" crossover because it's safer and more predictable than factory steering. Show her the size of the steering arm and she can no longer argue.

None of it makes sense to her she just smiles and nods. She thinks that the Detroit is going to make me do donuts in the interstate because it locks around corners with power. I tried to explain it and she just started getting pissed off. I think it is close to Aunt FLoe visiting. If I make it a safety issue she usually says nothing regardless of cost I just have to be creative.

Find one with crossover local make sure it drives better than your truck no matter whether the xover is the reason or not let her drive it and then let her drive your truck around the block. I see a crossover as your Christmas present if you get on this

I'm glad you finally got a Detroit! A month or so ago, I lost a bid on ebay for a Detroit and some 4.56 gears. When I looked at the bid history, there was a "sandawgk5" mixed in with the other bidders!

Yep that was me That thing went for like $385 but it did come with a set of 4.56s with the factory carrier.
