I was looking through the scrap bin at work and spotted this little beauty.

One of the mounting eyes was broken off so someone pitched it. Im going to put 5/8 hiems on each end. Its 1.5 bore 6.0 stroke and .75 rod dia. and its like new.
Now all I have to do is find some lines and figure out how to mount it..:woot:

Yeah, I work at a CAT dealership they through all kinds of cool chit away.

6" stroke is too short (or so my wife says...:haha:)

I believe you want an 8" stroke cylinder for hydro assist. Easy way to confirm is turn the wheels to lock one way, mark a point on the tie rod and the diff, turn em all the way the other way and see how much you have.

Im going to be running histeer I thought 6in. stroke is what is needed. 8 in. for standard tie rod location. The part I dont understand is why would they be different?
