well i thought it'd never happen but i couldn't pass this up. i got a 14bff with 4.10s and a open carrier and a detroit locker still in the box for $450. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif i know i've always said i want a D70 but this was a lot cheaper and just as good if not better.

this thing is frickin huge it's gotta weigh 500lbs!

my 14bff

i'm gonna lock it before i put it under the sub this month, and get 4.56s in feb probably.

Way to go...I'll be doing the same this summer hopefully. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

By the way...pic isn't working for me.

well i fixed it but it sucks check out the last 2 pics in my "the sub" album in my webshots.

Hey man, when you get them 4.56s, what are you doing with the 4.10s? I need a set of 4.10s for my 14 bolt. I kind of miss not having matching gears.

Looks really clean and I think you now can officially say you have found yourself a great foundation on the burb. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

i dunno. they're used. when i get em out in a few months i'll let ya have em.

yeah it's in really nice shape, with the exception of 2 holes in the cover. almost look like it was shot.

Did you pop the cover yet? If so is they any remaining evidence of the two holes? Are 14ff really bulletproof? /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

actually i have and there are no metal chunks floating around so i think they are.

Last I read they were around 550. I can lift half a D44 or 10 bolt pretty easy (esp the rears), but one of these things is a hernia waiting to happen. Is that a one ton 14 bolt? If so you have some welding to do, but the brakes rule!
