I just bought this 72' blazer yesterday, this thing is solid! the only rust in this thing is the last 2" of the bed befor the tailgate about 18" long and some of the bottom of the tailgate. It has a rebuilt 350 from 5years ago, but 3years ago the th350 crapped out on him and its been parked since. it also has the 205 x-case. he also swapped in 3/4ton running gear, but the front is a closed knuckle 44 and the rear is a dana60 with 4.56 gears. Also the back hinged gate on the canopy is a little sloppy looks like the fiberglass is needing fixed, anyone know any good write-ups on this?

I Sold the motor, tranny and x-case to my brother for $500.

My plan is to tear apart my 84 and put the drive train into the 72 as soon as all the bodywork and paint is done on it. I am wanting to put my 8" spring lift on it with some 37s.

Also I am open to suggestions to what color to paint it. thanks guys

By the way, i am only into this thing $500.....SCORE!

The 8" front springs on your '84 will not fit in this 72. They are a little longer.

Nice score, BTW.

they will but it will need a custom hanger
actually with a longer shackle and an off set zero rate they will go to the stock hangers.

I knew they were longer and just figured a little fab work would fix it, i hoping to get it to the house sometime after the first.

that must be the blazer driveline pose. the 72 I just looked at had the driveline in the same spot,LMAO same price too ;)
