so made I these shackles at work today. The first pic is to show the thickness. They are 6" from hole center to hole center and 3/8" thick. I was wondering if I put them on the rear of my front springs if they would be ok, or if I would have some gnarly angles? any help appreciated. anybody else run shackles this long on their front's?

With stock springs, those shackles will be too long.

I am running 56" springs on the front & I too am using a 7.25" shackle. My angle is great, but I could prolly use a shim to correct the pinion angle.

I just put in 6" shackles on my k5, with 4" springs the angle looks better then when I had the stock ones

well i might be getting some 6" springs here shortly so i will just have to cut them down to stock and redrill them.

new ?
what's the best way to get 6" out back if use a shackle flip im leaning towards the diy4x there stuff just looks bad azz. it says it will give you 4" of lift so what is the best way to get the other 2". shackles, helper spring, 2" spring anything else? let me know what ya'll think

I would go 1" add a leaf and stretch the wheel base another 1.5" and a 6" shackles for the rear. That should net you 6".
For the front I would use a 1" add a leaf and stretch it another 1.5" and use a 7.25" shackles.

I was able to get about 5-5.5" out of a homebrew shackle flip, 56" springs, and DIY4X 7" shackle on the rear.
