Look what the Fabrication Fairy Left

OK I just started thinking, which could be dangerous right now. I can't mount on the high pass side as it stands, my alternator resides there, however I spose I could relocate alternator to the two bolts on passenger side of block next to the crank, kinda like the Alan grove 402l(?) power steering mount except mirrord. I basically made my own PS bracket like Groves that used those two holes on the drivers side. If I accomplish the alternator relocate then I could plop the york on the high pass side. throw some more ideas at me.

They weigh in at allmost 26lbs a piece fully dressed with clutches....they have the standard double v groove pulleys with a single power wire....in original boxes....sittin by the garage door...my zip code is 81504...i think fed ex ground would be the cheapest....zap me your zip and after the holiday i'll do some checkin. I also have the serp belt clutches....can't remember how many grooves we run on the semi's but i believe its the same on heeps....can't run down and look because my wife has put the garage off limits till after xmas.....lol. I'll also make up a short section of wire with a female single way weatherpack terminated with a heat shrink butt connector to keep it all nice and weather tight...kick grimy in the butt for me...lol. Merry xmas all!

Will do on the butt kicking. Yes FedEx Ground is the cheapest way to ship for sure. If its not asking to much, I would like 1 compressor and one of each clutch. I am going to try to swap to serp. belts in the future.

My zip is 30281. LOL on the garage, thats a good one.

Thanks and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I can do that....as i have access to more here at the dealership....lol. Havin our first white xmas ever....kinda doesn't snow in phx az that much....lol. Keep me posted about progress on a bracket that would work with factory a/c...73-80 A-6. Suggestion.....can't quite see but....in most deisel applications brackets us a firm 6 bolts to mount the compressor to an l - shaped bracket....reason....deisel's vibrate and ratlle quite a bit....and we have the most problems with Cummins N-14's....M-11's...ISB's....and C's. And with the comp bodies being alumn...bolt holes with loose hardware don't last long....

Hehehe locked out of the shop LOL. Y
We finished X-Mas up yesterday. Sitting in my PJ's sipping on my coffee. Youngest wore me out playing with all the new junk she got from Grand Ma. Houses is destroyed!
Mom bought us a fancy Hoover carpet cleaner. 22 month old dumped a mikes Hard lemonade on the carpet (don't ask. turned my back on her for a minute to get a toy out of tha package. She got the bottle off the table took a sip, spit it ou on the floor then dumped the bottle LOL) Used it three times already. Cleaned up the mess the kid made. Got up this morning and the dog puked on the floor then twenty minutes later the cat pissed in the corner!
I was thinking of slapping some plugs in my truck but we have 21 deg wind chills and 25 mph gusts. Truck doesn't fit in the garage...screww it till tomorrow when the winds die down. I can deal with the staight cold but The wind chill SUCKS.

If the weight of those compressors combined is in excess then my Zip is 30066.
Hay will they give a discount to a buisness address? You could ship them to my work if that will save a few bucks. I know some of the companies charge a little extra for residential delivery.
Office zip is 30121.

Awe hell, make like your stuck on the trail and gotta get home, slap them plugs in. Fire up the engine for about 10 min first, that'll keep the old mits warm!

You going Jan 1? Come on you know you want to.

Sounds like the Kids, Dog, and Cat dont like the Hard Lemonaide.

The real bummer is that was the last one and I had saved it to drink after coming home from Mom's! We don't drink often either. Just rare occasions we will pick something up. I had one sip of it before the kid dumped it on the floor! /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif
I do wish I had a camera for that though. She got it in her mouth and the" WTF did I put in my mouth" look was a riot. She didn't so much as spit it out as open her mouth and let it run out LOL. Then just turned the bottle up side down looking right at me as I ran to get it away from her hahaha.. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
