guy want to trade me the 83 f350 i have laying around i cant seem to sell for 1000 bucks...

here is the plan if i get it...iits an 80 thas a 465/205 12 bolt/10 bolt with a 350 (mabye some work done) but i do know it has a set of headers and a quadra-jet under the hood...also a large wasp nest...he said he had it running a lil while back but stole the belts and battery of it for another truck...

so a few question would you do the trade and put my lift, wheels, tires and axles under it...or just keep on with the blazer i have and get a motor,trans,ect...also would that be a hydro bell housing??i didnt see a master cyl under the hood but couldnt get to close due to the wasps...

it is a full blazer but someone (did a preety good job) welded in a rear wall with a window...it also has a sunroof...not really to woried about the body and such seeing as how it will se trails mostly prolly only...

so what ya think??on to the pics

I wish my body was that clean, and that I had the fender emblems, even though they are in the wrong location. I would say it is a clean Blazer but you have already done a lot to yours so it is your call.

I dont think it will be hydro. My brothers Jimmy is an 83 and had a 465 and it did not have hydro.

I passed that truck everyday on my way to highschool. Always sitting in the same place. So it has been sitting a while.

But I vote to just finish your blazer, you have already started on it, do you really want to tear that apart again and start from scratch all over?:(

Hows it look underneith? is their any rot? i know that grass isnt the greatest place for a truck to stay for a while

so what years or models did hydro come on???

slap a battery in it and some belts. see what you have. pull it out of those weeds and crawl under it. act as if you were looking at it to buy it, forget about the trade, forget about your other blazer. if after you take a deeper look, here it run and maybe drive it back and forth in his driveway you think its something you would buy, do the swap. you have zero interest in the ford it seems.

what you do with it after that is an etirely different issue to deal with. if someone offered me a running driving blazer for a ford rustbucket I would take the deal. but you do own a ford, dodge and GM. can't split up the set.:doah:
