I found a K5 for a decent price.. I think.

But The guy said, It's leaking Tranny fluid into the Tcase..

He says It's a 350,350,205.

The leaking would be caused by the transfer case input shaft seal. right?

Would it be safe to drive it Like that?
Doesn't the 205s fill up with ATF anyway?

yep.. it's the seal. I had the problem with my Np205 / TH350 combo.

AFT is fine in a 205.... and some prefer ATF for just that problem you mentioned. . But most agree gear oil is better if you seals are good.

make sure everything has fluid and you can drive it fine. The only possible problem I see... is the t case can rob the transmission of some of its fluid... or vise verse causing the other one to overfill. That is how I found out that I had an issue… Transmission fluid level was erratic… one day it was overfilled.. next day low… depending on how I was driving.

Ok, i was just curious, Because It's about ~100 miles One way. I have NO way to tow the rig back, So I was just curious if it would hurt the trans/Tcase or anything else driving it like that. but, I think I might go pick this thing up.

You should be fine but on that long of a trip I would stop and check a couple times and make sure tranny isnt too low. Would hate to ruin the tranny over something like that.
