Does anyone know of a nice kit on the market? Yes I know I could just have a custom setup done, but I was curious if anyone new of something on the market? Getting ready to drop a SBC crate engine in with new LT headers on my 89. I can weld so that’s not an issue, I could buy a generic system and fab, just wanted to know what was available, couldn’t find much at all on the inter webs.

I bought a generic one from summit that fit pretty decently. Had to do a little cutting and fitting.

If your truck is already set up with 3" (not sure when they went that way at the factory) and the mounting hardware is in good shape, I'd recommend sticking with that setup, but replacing the flat style converter with a more modern high flow design.

3" is more than enough for a stock or close to stock engine, and the factory mount system is a good, solid design, when in good shape. Making a nice y-pipe would be your only real difficulty, but that just takes some time.
