1/2 ton status
My friend is starting out as a large animal vet, and needs a truck for his job.
Would prefer something $4,000 or less, but may be willing to spend a little more for the right truck.
Must have full 4-doors, so that means Ford or Chevy, unless it is an older Dodge (like 70's).
Must have 4WD - he has to drive through pastures and stuff.
Prefer 1-ton, but may consider a 3/4-ton.
Single-Rear-Wheel or Dual-Rear-Wheel does not matter.
Gas engine is fine, doesn't need to be a diesel. Which engine it has is not that important - 350, 351, 454, 460, 6.9, 7.3, 6.2 etc. Doesn't really matter - just has to move the truck around, not haul giant trailers.
Not really looking for a project. Needs something he can start using.

He's located in NC, but will make a drive for the right truck.
