Looking for a good wheeling spot near Phx

My sister and her two kids are coming to visit from the flat land known as Nebraska, and wanted me take em on a little wheeling excursion. I live in Tucson, but we'll be up in Phoenix for the visit. Where's a good place, somewhat near town, to take em where they won't poop their pants, but we can have a good time? The only trails I've done up their is the now closed river bottom, up near Bartlett, and the crown king run. I'd like to do some romping around and so on maybe not just a trail ride nut any suggestions are appreciated. Is their any good wheeling say up by lake pleasant besides going all the way up to crown king? Help me out fellas!
