It scoots and you can hear the turbo so that is fun. Now I need a wing and a big fart can!
Yeah, fewer distractions are nice. We are getting out of the truck and bumper pull and into the Class C and toad (JKUR) mode. Going camping with the bumper pull cost me a half day on the front end and a day on the back end even though we leave the camper ready to go other than bleaching the freshwater tank and water heater. The 31' bumper to ball trailer and the 20' truck made it so we had to pick our path to anywhere and it made some campgrounds miserable. The motorhome is 28.5' bumper to bumper and the JKUR is pretty stubby. It seems to take me about ten minutes to hook up the JKUR.
I'm hoping my wife can handle using the bathroom in motion so then going places gets super quick. So between the easiness and the travel time, I am thinking I will get two full days of productivity back for each camping trip (because often I take the day off work before to get ready and we leave in the morning, losing half a camping day, versus going camping after work).
Camping is kind of like our vacation thing we do together, and it's the only time I'm not working on something. She goes on vacation with her Mom and friends all the time, I haven't gone anywhere since before the pandemic. Well, not entirely true. Two years ago we stayed in Madison, Wisconsin for one night getting our Shiba Inu and this year we stayed the night in lovely Neenah, Wisconsin to get our motorhome.
Anyway, what I'm getting at, is scheduled distractions can be good.
And I still think it's weird buying a truck for farm use where only one person can use the armrest at a time.
Yesare you flat towing your JKUR?
I bought a used 2016 Chevy 3500hd for a farm truck and tow rig and a 2017 Toyota Tacoma for a daily. Once the horses were gone, we bought a truck camper so we could go camping more (2 adults with 2 dogs, no kids), and I can still tow the Tacoma, the CUCV, or any other old vehicle I own on my 20 foot car trailer. Unfortunately, Toyota didn't set up the Tacoma for flat towing.

There are options, I'm just not ready to trade in trucks at this point.Isn't there anything you can modify to flat tow?

Easy enough to disconnect the rear driveshaft. The issue is unlocking the steering with push button start.I meant to modify the Toyota to flat tow it
