I’m looking for a nice clean rust free K5. I’m in the North East but willing to ship the right truck, budget is $20-$25k Let me know what you have TIA

Anyone else have anything?

are you looking for the 1973-1975; full top removable? 1976-1980; round eye? 1981-1991? 1987-1991; fuel injection? manual or automatic? any specific transfer case?
do you have any specifics you are looking for? showroom nice or are you willing to do some work?

I have a 1978 I'd sell. Has some rust on the doors and rockers but that's about it. A little surface rust on the front floor pan. All the metal behind the drivers compartment was replaced before I bought it. New rear quarters and bed floor.

Whats your end game for this “nice clean rust free K5” ?

Great questions, I’d love a ‘73-75 with the full lift off top if my budget allows but I’m more concerned with the cleanest rust free truck that I can find, meaning that I’m open to all years. I love the two tone trucks especially and the round eyes but also TBI and OD is great for drive ability which is really what this truck is about for me. I can obviously add EFI easy enough as well as OD but I like stock, original, unmolested trucks so that I can mod them to my tastes. I just sold an incredibly nice GTO that I never drove and want to get back into a K5 that I can drive every weekend as a mall-cruiser/ice cream getter. On that end I’d also buy a nice LS conversion but that isn’t cheap so I’d rather get the cleanest body that I can afford.

My budget is $20-$25k so showroom nice is my preference, at my budget I’m not expecting perfection which is why I said nice, clean and rust free. I won’t buy anything with rust, my last K5 had the rotted rear crossmember/tailgate hinge issues so I’m not at all interested in going down that road again. I will absolutely pay to ship the right vehicle to me up here in the Northeast just to avoid rust. I’m willing to do anything for work except for paint and body, I work on my own stuff for a hobby and modify everything that I own but I always try to start with the nicest cleanest sample before I start wrenching so the bones have to be good/great.

Also, I have to park it in my garage to keep it out of the weather so can’t have a 6”-12” lifted truck. I’d rather have stock suspension, I bought a Jeep once that was lifted and ended up redoing everything the previous owner did just to make it right so I’d rather not go down that road again.

Just a cruiser, no off road or rock crawling, mall princess is the best way to describe it I guess.

You can also look for a Decent Cucv M1009 Military Blazer they are not as expensive as Civvy Blazers and you can find ones in good condition for less than your budget.
