I'm gonna go my 4 core radiator swap into my 89 Burb this weekend and am wanting to use the stock fan shroud. Being that the 4 core rad is longer, does anyone have any pictures of how the stock shroud should be mounted? Thanks.

What exactly are you looking for pics of? I have the longer diesel 4 core in my K5 and it mounts silmilarly to the smaller gas 3 core mine originally had. The difference is the individual top brackets are longer to accommodate the wider rad tank and the driver side bracket bolts to a different set of holes further out, the pass side goes in the same position. The core support should also had the additional spot on the lower ledge as well.

I'm looking for something that will show how the shroud will look when mounted correctly and also how is was trimmed.

After work I can get some pics of the shroud and mounting.

Mine is only trimmed at the bottom of the fan opening to allow for a 1" body lift otherwise no trimming required. That said, mine is a matched set of radiator, top brackets and shroud from a CUCV.

Sorry it's late... If there is anything else you want a pic of let me know.

Here's the top of the shroud. The end bolts you see screw in to the radiator mounting brackets (where the rubber bushings are). The inboard bolts go into the cover that spans the top of the radiator (says "caution fan") but it's purely cosmetic, no structural value.

Here's the bottom of the shroud but it's hard to get a good pic of. There are 2 bolts that go into the lip on the bottom of the core support, the same as the shroud on the original 350 set up.

Thanks for the picture. I just realized I left out some important info. I'm swapping this into a truck with a small block. When I used the shroud from the big block on my last truck, it left a giant space between the fan and the shroud. Is there a way to properly mount the small block fan shroud on the big block radiator?

Let me know what bottom radiator hose you use to connect the radiator to the water pump.
I had to splice the big hose for the radiator with the small hose for the small block together with a piece of tubing.
