1999 suburban 7.4
-I'm having a really hard time locating a 95-98 truck clutch pedal assembly. Pre-95's aren't the same, and I have one of those.
-using sm465 with hydraulic throwout (which i don't have yet)
- don't want to spend a bunch of money, seeing some kits go for 600+. Really want to back down from that a LOT.
Looking for recommendations for affordable aftermarket clutch pedal, a master cylinder and hydro throwout that will work with the pedal.
The Wilwood swinging clutch pedal assembly looks good. They have an adjustable ratio for $147 and a 7:1 ratio for $107. Don't know which one to get until I can get the Master and throwout nailed down.
Edit: also, while I'm at it, should I use a flywheel from a '98 truck 7.4? or use a flywheel from a 80's 7.4 that would've had an sm465 behind it? or would it even matter?
thanks in advance
