Hi. I'm the new guy and am looking for help/input. I am currently rebuilding an 85 Jimmy Fullsize that I have had forever. Frame is done and thought I had a tub lined up but had it sold out from under me. The old tub was pretty much shot/fell apart when removed. I was wondering what one might cost or if any of you know where I could find one as I am not having much luck. I am in Wisconsin. Oh, It's an 85 with a Sm465 trans, 205 t-case, 3'' lift and am hoping to do a crate 427 or put my spare 454 in it This is my first SUV as I have always had pick-ups, but my son wants this and I have two more years to get it done. Thanks in advance!!

thanks, I had called them once when I started the project, but they seemed way out of line on price. Maybe now with the economy, maybe the would be more reasonable.

Idk how possible it would be but try junkyards and you could have it shipped to you

If someone is selling them all the time, where are they? I 've spent plenty of time looking, but can't seem to find one. Maybe I need a different suggestion for google?

try ebay. you could find a whole truck for cheap and sell the parts.

We have a classified section. I know it's a premium feature here...feel free to grab a membership and start all the threads you want in the classifeds.

The Garage is not a place to whore parts, for sale, wanted, free etc etc.

Thanks!

Rene

Busted.

That would make a great signature quote.

I guess I'm a whore. I will be attending a twelve step program to get the help I need.
