Looking for someone who is parting out a K5 with the rear seat installed need the bolts to hold back seat hinges to floor and the shock to that is bolted the bracket to the floor. Some one has to have it or has a K5 there parting out. Thanks in advance!

No one parting one out?

Sorry, don't have those around. The rear seat bolts are going to be a standard bolt I'm thinking. The one used for the seat hold forward, that is a shoulder bolt, and I'm not sure if that is something standard you can just buy or not. If you check the threads in the body, then measure the hole in the seat holder (and thickness) you can check online for shoulder bolts. They are normally listed by thread diameter, shoulder diameter, and shoulder length. IIRC, the truck one has a very thin head, most shoulder bolts would probably need the heads ground down, and cut a slot for a flat blade screwdriver. Or cut completely off and weld a nut where the head was. :)

Lot of work for a stupid bolt, but unless you get lucky, might not have another choice. Have you checked LMC truck for this bolt? You might try the parts manual here for the later trucks, see if GM is still selling the bolt, or if you can find one on ebay, etc http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showpost.php?p=5621043&postcount=1

Found them!!!!!! Damn I really need to clean my garage up way to much crap in it! But thanks for info and trying to help a guy out.

Sorry, I forgot that I *repaired* my seat strut (what GM calls it) with a shoulder bolt as the rivet failed.

Anyway, GM says the bolts for the seat bracket to floor is 1/2"-13 x 1-3/4 with a 1/2" spring lock washer. No part numbers for this one. Forget the washer though, they are probably talking about a split ring, and those things are no good. Just use threadlocker.

The bolts for the strut to the floor and seat are the same, 5/16"-18 x 7/8" and are called bolt, hex lg fl wa which I assume translates to hex head, large flange. Part number is or was 2014469

Edit: bit slow on my reply I see. :)
