Does anyone have links to some cool dash switches? I've been looking at these: http://www.4x4mods.com/Product/Jeep/rockerswitches.html but I thought I'd ask what others have found before I take the plunge. If those were backlighted I would jump on 'em in a hearbeat. I hate fumbling for switches in the dark, and that's when I use 'em! :wink1:

Then I just need to figure out where to mount 'em on my '90 Suburban. GM used up nearly every inch of dash space! I need 4, Driving, Fog, Spot, and Rear lights. :cool1: Perhaps I'll have to mod the overhead console a bit...

Seabass44 has cool switches. I found some in JCWhitney I liked but they were absurdly priced. they were like Seabass' with the red cover over the toggle like you would see in safety setting or possibly in a plane. JCWhitney wanted $29.95 PER SWITCH!!!!

I actually just ordered a custom switch from seabass. Talk about service! This guy is great, the product went beyond expectations and I will seriously tell anyone who is looking for dash switches to talk to him first. :thumb: Now I just need to find the time to install it...

The nice part about seabass44 is that I live in the same wee lil town he does. Ran into his stuff on Ebay and fell in love with it. Now, I just have to drop by and rummage around to find what I want.

Beats having to see something by pictures and make a decision. I much prefer to be able to touch something before I buy it.

Look again the ones you want ARE lit!
Uhh, I think that YOU are the one who needs to look again. They aren't backlit. They only light up when they're on. Finding the correct one in a dark cab isn't easy if you have several mounted side-by-side. I want the logo to light up when the dash lights come on, but it seems that only factory switches have that feature. I'm not finding any aftermarket ones that do. :(

I know those do not but most lit toggels are are 3 prong design. The outers are used as the switch and the inner is used as the light. So you can attach them to a dash lighting circuit and have them light up with the dash lights, but then you would not as easily know if they are in the on or off position.

Hmmm I guess I don't understand the on/off/on thing? Either way they don't light up the image. What about a small LED or some sort of lamp to light up the entire switch panel when your headlights are on?
