Looking for one in the area of long island. Im in the process of building up funds so no rush on it, i know good ones around here are hard to find. Just looking for 1ton. It must have OD green or camo paint on it, no repainted. Im looking for decently close to military spec, tow hooks, brush guard and all. LEt me know what you got, where and how much. Looks like i need to sell my k5 and start whoring myself out to OT haha. Thanks

bump. Just looking for the woodland m1028 in good cond. Ill have about $4-5k in 2 months time. For that i expect one in very good to mint cond. Low miles, little to no rust. Dont care bout scratches and dents, just no serious body damge. LEt me know.

For that much you could have your pick of the best ones in the country and have it shipped to your door...

out my ears huh??

just got a m1009, m1028,m1008.

they are good trucks. i have had a bunch now. many in my family now too

i have camo m1008s thats it for now, 1028 i just got is red and from the fire department.

gsa? i got a few from there over the years. i would think spraying it would be pretty easy. i think the time is in the prep work.

CARC is some nasty stuff. It's authentic but if you ever do any work on the body, or even cutting, it's potentially health hazardous. I did all my cutting last fall and this spring with a breath mask on.

yes that true too. i found out the hard way. still cant find the Michelin XL's. sorry i sold them all. found a few new ones. sure want a lot for them tho.

well i got a respirator i could use, just need the filters. I could always use my apr from work haha. I really just plan on applying paint. Either over commerical civy paint if i have to or refreshing carc paint. Though i heared for carc you dont need much prep work if repainting over old carc, just a good pressure wash or something so its clean? With civy paint id prob sand a bit.

The civi paint job on a CUCV is probably already painted on top of the CARC already so you still need the protection when prepping.

hmm, i heard if your spaying carc you dont need much more than a clean surface, esp if your spraying over old carc. And bump, im going for an m1008 instead!
