I just did a post on emmissions & now realize how area specific some of this stuff is. Anyway I recently bought an 84" Blazer that Im havin alot of fun with. I haven't been wheeling for probably the last five years or so (my civic just does't flex so well:D ). Anyway I use to own a Land Cruiser with lockers & the hole bit. Now Im gettin back into it with my Blazer. I just want to know who's out there from Utah, where your from, and where you wheel.

I'm actually in sandy but I love little moab, AF canyon but if you wander south as much as i do MOAB BABY!!! SOO many places soo little time. :D

Blue90 did you hit Blazer Bash this year? I am stoked to bring my Blazer down there. So far I've just wheeled the "B" in Bountiful, but I have afriend in Lehi & I think we'll hit AF Canyon soon.

I pretty much just find a dirt road and start following it. Most of the time I don't even know the name of the trails I am on. More fun that way. There are so many fire roads and trails near my house, it is easy to just disappear for hours at a time.

You helped jogged my memory. Good work.:D I used to go hunting there back in the day, we found all kinds of trails. Somewhere in beteween Saratoga Springs and Toole. I think Im gonna head up Butterfield and see what I find.

lectric do you ever wheel in the salt flats? when I lived in SLC a friend of mine had a square light jeep we took out there. Once we saw this huge tractor tired thing pulling some guy out of a bog hole. It was kinda cool but I think it was more tractor than anything else. It had a cab sorta like a crane cab. Didnt get to look at it close or for long. That is all.

I do on occasion head out to the flats, but I haven't since owning the Blazer. Mainly spent the summer making sure that everything was in good condition. Just about ready for the deer hunt, just need to get the front hubs done, and get new wheel bearings installed.

I've never heard of Constrictor, Im going to Google it. Sounds Killer!:D
If you like your sheetmetal, the constrictor isn't for you:wink1:

The flat's blow...

Thats a killer flex!! Do you have sway bar disconnects? My rear flex's real well. The fronts OK. I thought of just takin the sway bar off & try drivin It like that.

Yeah the sway bar is disco'd with the ORD disconnection kit. Well worth the money. Allot of people on here will dis agree with me on this but i think it's better to keep the sway bar on and use the disco kit if you still drive it on the road.

I may just give it a try & see how she handles with it off. If it sucks I'll do the disco. Hey have any you guys seen a Blazer with the Revolver shackles? Terra flex makes them & I read an article that said they were in the process of makin em for our rigs. They were the big thing along time ago because they are designed to drop and twist for better flexing. http://www.rockcrawler.com/techreports/revolvers_samurai/index.htm
