Just Wondering If Any One Out There Know's Where I Can Get Some Front Bucket Seat's, Original Style If I Can. Can They Be Bought As Reproduction Unit's, Something Maybe That Will Bolt To The Original Bracket's. My Passenger Seat Is Oem But My Driver's Seat Is Not. Any Idea's. The Seat's Are For An 83 K5. Also, Does Tuffy Sell A Console That Fit's Good Between The Seat's?

Why do you capitalize every word? Anyway, do some searching, check the classifieds and eBay.

I'll try not to capitalize every word. I don't know why I do it, now that I know it bug's you I'll do it all the time. HA HA HA HA. Oh wait I know I was supposed to write (LOL). Sorry I don't know all the computer ediquite and all that good stuff. Sorry if you thought I was yelling. Maybe I'm deaf. Hey all kidding aside, thanks for the advice I'll check e-bay . Like I said I'm not up to date with this computer stuff.
As far as LMC, I'm waiting for their catalog in the mail. I have dial-up internet. I live to far in the boonies for anything else but that, and that expensive sattelite stuff.

Just figured I'd tell you nicely before someone got angry ;) Welcome to the boards, even though you joined 3 years ago ;)

Thanks for the in-sight. Well if you look at the Pig Pen I have left some smart-a$$ comments. Don't worry about anything you say to me, I am very, very hard to offend. After 20+ years in the Military there isn't much I haven't said or heard. I joined CK5 back in 2005 but I was suffering from "truck builder's burn out" after building several other rig's, but now I'm chomping at the bit to get my 83 K5 built and I'm gonna be asking alot of question's and learning the particular's of the Blazer. I've built Jeeps,Bronco's,Chevy and Ford trucks but never a Blazer, so be prepared.

i bought a set of NOS bucket seat covers off ebay for 80 bucks, theyre perfect fit and what im saying is OEM is always better. your best bet to find the driver bucket is local classifieds and what not. people part out blazers every once in a while here.

i got an original passenger seat outta my 83 blazer. The drivers is trash tho. I see some original seats sometimes on craigslist from time to time.

I was told that seats from a newer silverado (with seat belts built into the seat) will bolt to your stock seat base. I just installed a nice set of seats from the salvage yard...cost me $250 for the seats and center console.

Just another option for ya...not original but they look great and I can sit another person up front.

Where in Wisconsin are you? I live in Upper Michigan.

Sounds like a good idea for the seat's. I'll look into that. I'm about an hour and 45 minutes south of Iron Mountain, roughly. I go to the VA hospital up there from time to time. I live between the town's of Suring and Mountain Wis. off of HWY 32.

I feel your pain, when I am not at school I live in the sticks. The internet is slow, but being able to park all of your busted ass trucks in the front yard is always a plus

Wow.... that's cool. I go to Iron Mountain quite a bit but I live in Escanaba. Nice to know there are some ck5 people around this area. Best of luck on finding some seats.

If your interested in the newer seats I could post some pictures of the install. 2 front bolt holes line up perfectly. I had to drill a total of 6 holes to mount the new seats and center console. much more comfortable for traveling and both seats still slide forward like the old ones for access to the back.

Sounds like it's worth taking a look at. Go ahead and post some of the pics. I would like to see them seats. It sounds pretty staight forward, I may have to visit the local junk yards. When it warms up !!! What year trucks did they come out of ? Curious . Also TDAWG, thanks for the input on the Summit seats too.

I'm try to post some pictures after work today. The seats I have are out of a 2002 Silverado but any seats from 1999 and newer will do.

Shop around the salvage yards like I did to find a good deal. The yard I got mine from even had the full-power leather seats from an avalanche if that sort of thing floats-your-boat.
