looking for info on custom front axle housing

where is a good place to get a bare housing ordered from ?

looking for center section / tubes / inner c's / then parts will be install after that point.

possible high pinion housing and dedenbear inner c's for the axle .

i called dynatrac a few years back & they were competitive w/ other prices i got. there's were the only high pinion i priced.

well so far .

solid brand high pinion center section only $850
dedenbear inner c's and knuckles only around $900ish

need to find place to get the tube and price on it.

then tackle the machine work and install of the parts would kill it for me.

havent found a shop yet that will build what i want yet.

did find some places for a bare sub axle ( center/tubes/inner c's ) done for $2200 bucks.


i think i will just get dedenbear knuckles and built it and run it till it blows. i figured if it wasnt to much i would built a super axle and sell my stocker to recop some of the money . but not at these prices.

i looked on poly performance and was curious, they show a dynatrac pro rock 60 labled as "complete front housing". does that mean housing & tubes?

to things on the dyna trac stuff.

thay have sub assembly center/tubes/c's only.

then complete you bolt it in the truck.

and then there is the fact thay only use ball joint stuff now. no more kingpin stuff.

We saw these guys' http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/ stuff the week of KOH and I was impressed. We went to there trailer three or four times that week.

thanks. called them only setup for 9" fab housings now.

also called dynatrac and talked withthem. pro 60 housing/tubes/dedenbear inner c's all to gm specs bare housing only and thats a hgh pinion 60 also.

thay said shipped would be basicly $2000 just over $1850 for the bare unit.
