Our local 4x4 club, Banging Bones 4x4 is hosting the 7th Annual Nevada United Four Wheelers Association Convention Here in Elko Nevada. This is turning out to be a really good event. With 3 days of Fun for every one.
Events include: A 4x4 show, Stump crawling, Obstacle course, Tug O war, A great Night run to the top of one of our local mountains. And on Monday an all day run to a town named Jarbidge NV That is next door to nowhere. You'll put over 100 miles in the dirt enjoying some of Nevada's pretty scenery on this one. There are also a ton of great raffle prizes to be given away including a set of 35x 12.50 Pro Comp MTs
The convention is going to be at the Elko Convention center which is a first class center located next to the City park where many car shows are held.
Elko is a small town of 15000 people located in north east Nevada in the middle of thousands of square miles of prime 4x4 country. You wont find any Trail Closed signs here.
A local Motel, Ameritel is offering a rate of 65.00 a nite for Four Wheelers. They have nice rooms, a pool ,weight room, ect. There are many other places to stay here also from 30.00
It would be great to have some CK5ers show up for this event. You'll sure be welcome
