I am wanting to find an original 74 suburban/ck truck AM radio. I know it sounds weird, but when I was a teen, I threw mine away for an awesome cd player (I mean it had the dolphins) I'd love to hid a stereo now and keep the original radio hooked up to my front speaker. I live in Indiana. Happy to pay for shipping and a fair (cheap please) price. Let me know what you got or your thoughts. Thanks!!

There is a guy on EBay that restores and sells GM Radios .... I was able to find my RPO Code UM6 radio that came in my 85 Blazer.

In my restoration, I installed Kicker 3.5 low profile front dash speakers and Kicker 4 X 10 Rear Kicker speakers ... It definitely has old school sound and works fine.

I then found and installed a unit from Out Of Sight Audio using wiring harness adapters from Crutchfield ... One Inlet from Speakers and one Outlet from Speakers . I used the loose wiring from the Pigtails to wire into the unit.

I play Pandora through mine and it sounds fantastic. Any playlist should work ..

You can switch back and forth between "Original" and then the Bluetooth through your phone. I bought the MKIV so I could have hands free driving, I just have not used it very much based on the voice in is a mic that you have to mount.

Let me know if you need pictures or any help.
Thanks !

Is that some kind of radio that only works in the morning? :what:

(I say, pretending I'm not old.)

I pulled one out of my 74 c30, I will charge you $10 + cost of shipping to cover my time to package it.
I don't know if it works and I don't have time for that.
If you want it let me know.
I will get a picture tomorrow.

I may take you up on the $10 Plus shipping. Sorry for the late response. We went on Spring Break and got caught in the flooding down in the Rio Grande Valley.
