Ok so most of all, I need a decent condition maroon drivers side visor, the snow and sun is killing me without one, the glare will be the end of me one of these days.

Also looking for a roof rack of lights for my truck.

And what I can only assume is an external visor of some sort? Looks like it extends the roof of the truck out 5 or 6 inches over the windshield? Not sure what it is called, but I love the way they look, how do they attach???

Thanks
-Steve-

Lund Visor is what your looking for.

Thanks, is it something that i can get one and attach it, or does it come from the factory like that? In either case, if i can, how does it mount to the truck? Thanks

It is an aftermarket part. The only way to attach one to a 73-87/91 body style truck is drilling holes and bolting it on. For the newer body style trucks, Lund started making visors that don't require drilling holes.

I've got the one in the picture below for sale for $30. I'm not sure what it would take to ship it though. It takes about 8 screws to attach it to the roof of your truck.

I think I've got sun visors, the pair of them. I'll double check in the morning.

Rick that came off a k5? Just to make sure it fits, lol. And do they have clip lights on it or not? I've seen some with and some without.Want to check shipping to 10307?? Thanks.

NEK I only need the drivers side, my passanger side is still brand new looking, would you sell just the one?

I'm not sure what it would take to ship it though.

For something like that, if you don't know how to pack it and ship it I would go to a full service place like FedEx Kinkos or the UPS Store. They will pack it up and ship it for a little more than the regular shipping price. The length of that thing is gonna drive the shipping price up though.

I had it on my K5 from '03 until about 2 months ago. It doesn't have the lights in it. It has 2 holes in it about 1/2" in diameter where I had my washer fluid nozzles mounted for a while.

I will get a shipping quote sometime this weekend.

when i shipped a visor like that i just wrapped it in pallet wrap (many times to get a thick layer) and had the fedex people put fragile stickers on it. it went across the country without any trouble.

:doah::doah: I'll try and get down to the shop too see if its in a box.....

I've got the same Lund piece, same color w/ lights if your interested....

How much Blad? I would like a lighted one..
How do you power the lights anyway? Seems counter productive to drill a hole into the roof, I mean you have to to mount it, but at least then bolts will be in it.

Well I have a couple of factors that are motivating me here,

-I was just getting ready to list it on CL locally
-I'm unemployed

They seem to be about $250 new, I'd like to get $100 for it but would let it go to a CK5'er for $80 + shipping which looks to be about $40.

It's in great condition, I would put some alum angle scraps over the lights, wrap it in cardboard and tape and send it on it's way.

It came on my burb w/out the lights hooked up. It has long wire leads that you could snake in your door jam, otherwise you would have to drill.

Seems rick88's is the deal at $30... let me know
