My 11 year old son is picking up a 63 WIllys Wagon that is sitting on a 73 CK frame.

I like the idea of the blazer base as I know all about the options and how to build the frame, where to brace the frame, all the cool stuff for crossover steering etc.

The original build was done horribly wrong in terms of body mounts to frame. We will need to start frame off and build from ground up. All new suspension, and most importantly building the correct stuff.

I have searched and found lots of talk, but I have not found a build thread to use as a guide.

So does anyone here have an ultimate build thread for such a franken Jeep Jimmy ordeal?

Without knowing a lot about Willys wagons, I would think a pickup frame would work better. Big thing would be how the wheel bases line up.

I used the stock frame on my Willys Wagon build after I did some boxing and reinforcing in some areas.
