Can anyone help me find a thread on adjusting hood for a 87 K5? Having to remove hood and replace 2 gaskets and want to align hood correctly. Hood is not adjusted right as of now and work like it to be correct. Thanks guys!

We'll if the hood was adjusted right in the first place, what you'd do is drill an 1/8" hole through the hinge and hood. Then to align when putting back on just insert something like an appropriately sized nail in the hinge and through the hole in the hood. This method works for door removal also.
Maybe you can use this to at least get you back to where you were. And where exactly is it out of alignment?
