I need a non tilt , standard tranny, steering column preferable with intermitant wipers. I dont need a steering wheel with it but I need all the wiring intact. The closer to CT and the cheaper the better .

C'mon ...nobody has one ??? It'll be just my luck that I'll buy one for like $125 and the next day someone will be giving one away .

hope ya find one... did you try car-part.com yet?

I got one.... from my 1985 gmc jimmy $100 truck score.. but sorry this is going into my truck...

I have one out of a 79' standard tranny might be a tilt I can't remember but shipping that might cost more than it is worth to you.

standard tranny ?

huh ?

3 speed?

4 speed ?

you have to know this stuff first because 3 speed is on column shift and 4 speed is on floor

so..

75 for columns in yards around here,

i wonder what the latest year column is that will work in an 84-85-86 etc

also i dont remember if dimmer went to column in 84 too, or if it waited a year after the wipers change

i forgot now,

good luck

4 spd standard, I don't care if its tilt or not. I think all 84 through 89 columns will fit. come on guy I need to drive my truck

I understand that... but you can't say your in a hurry and expect the best price at the same time. But if you want cheap and in a hurry you can get a column shift from and auto tranny and just remove the shift lever. They are easy and cheap to find.
