Im looking to buy an 8" lift kit for my 89 K5. If you have a complete one or misc. parts laying around, springs, shocks, brackets etc. and are looking to get rid of them let me know!
Thanks!

If you don't want a stiff ride I would suggest a 4" shackle flip in the rear with a set of 4" springs and then 8" springs up front unless you want to do a 52" spring swap then you'd need something other but people who have done the 52" swap will have to chime in to let you know how much lift that alone witll net you.

ive got the springs for the front, been going back and forth between just all spring or 4" spring and shackle flip, in the rear. im thinking just all spring for now because all i do is mud. plus if i wanted to go to a 12" lift i could just add a shackle flip and skip a block entirely and just buy new springs for the front. if i was doing more crawling id look into a 52" swap. and definitely less lift!

Different strokes for different folks. I personally wouldn't want a stiff ride. Keep in mind though that if you did go with a 4" flip and 4" springs then decided you wanted to go 12" lift you would now only need to purchase a set of 8" springs. :deal: :D
