So im looking for a pickup the m1008 or m1028. Looking for a 1ton. I dont know much about them so what should i be looking for? I want something close to milspec. Also, how does dealing with govliquidation work? any suggestions for having the truck shipped and is it possible for it to have a title and pass inspection in NY? ID prefer to find one secondhand but if i must ill go though govliquidation. Theres a reserve base by the RR station i take to work and man i wish it were as easy as walking in with a wad of cash. So any tips with gov liquidation and what should i be looking for when buying a cucv? How much should i be spending on one in good to excelent cond? thanks

m1008s

they sell them here at colemans..in pa, they have 5 or so of the k30s..assorted colors but are in the 4500-5500 range and miles are usually lower...(www.colemans.com) its a military surplus store also...you will have to call about vehicles.. also i think that there is one still for sale on here by cucv..

they have alot of stufff there, i got my grill guard there for 20.00 and 5 gallon metal gas cans for 15.00 . i asked weeks ago for d60s and 14b... they have the 14b but no 60s. as for trucks they had a few and blazers. used parts not alot of.

Do a search on here for "cucv" and "military blazer/pickup/truck". We've discussed it a lot of times.

Low frills but the pickups have plenty of beef. Out of the box the pickups are basically setup for 38's.
