Just like the title says. The time has come to put full hydro on my Trazer. My new wife gave me the go ahead to spend $2000 of our wedding money on either of my trucks. I'd like to do this for $1000 or less so that I will have more money to put into my daily driver m1009 (would like to do 3/4 ton axle swap on that, and some other things)

Now I know I can piece together a system for maybe a cheaper price but I know little to nothing about full hydro steering. So I think I would be better off buying a complete kit from a manufacturer. Mounting is no isssue as my brother is a very good welder/fabricator.

Thanks

ORD is all I've been reading and hearing to go with. I think thier kit is in the $1500 range.

I believe ORD sells PSC. They did in the past anyhow.

I am planning on a PSC kit. I was looking at it from Poly Performance since they have a few other items I plan to order at the same time.

I am curious what is popular full hydro right now also, since I have notate the purchase.

I just purchased a PSC hydo assist kit. Not full hydro, but I was impressed with their packaging and quality of parts. They forgot to send one small item and when I brought it to their attention, they sent the missing package immediately. Their website has plenty of thechnical help pages and the guys on the tech / sales line are knowledgable.

In regards to ORD. I have always had good luck with those guys and they are also very knowledgable. I consulted with them before buying my hydro assist kit. The only reason that I didn't order from them is that we are in the same state and the tax on the order was way more than the shipping costs from PSC in TX.

Both companies are reputable and have quality products.

ORD does sell the PSC kit. It looks like they charge the same price so I would just go through PSC instead (unless ORD gave some kind of ck5 discount I don't know about) But at $1200-$1500 depending if I want single or dbl ended ram, I'd like to get that price down :(
