I found a 69 for sale at a reasonable price. it has a 350, a 4spd with granny low and a dana20 t-case. Supposedly the body is shot. I haven't gone and seen it yet. I'm looking for some general info, as to what I would be getting into. I am a previous jeep guy converted to a scout guy, now possibly a blazer guy. did this year have disc brakes? power steering? what are some commonn issues I should look for. I think they had a 12 bolt rear with a d44 front correct? waht are the common ratios? are there aftermarket body patrs available? steel, or fiberglass and how much. any advice would be appreciated.
