Loose steering box

I changed my steering box out @ a year ago and since then it has loosened up twice(only about 2000 miles). I tried loctite but It didnt hold. Can I get a bolt that goes thru the box and then a nut on the other side? Is this doable or a bad idea. will it put ondo stress on the ears of the steering box? oh its a 91 cc that just has a camper for the beach on it. thanks Scott

I don't see why not. Are you still using the original bolts? Maybe replacing them will help out

Yes you can, I did this on my box. Over the years I've read where several folks have done this and had no problems.
