Just bought a 87 k5 blazer. It has 35' tires on it with a lift kit, not sure how big the lift kit it looks to be like 4' or so. anyways I have never owned anything bigger then 33' tires. So my question is are the tires making the Steering loose on this truck or is there a problem? and If so what should i be looking at

thanks
Alan

I'm going with some sort of problem, check everthing from the tie rod ends to ball joints all the way up te steering linkage to the column..... also check the frame where the steering box bolts in to see if it is cracked or if te bolts are loose

my loose steering turned out to be caused by splines stripped off sector shaft by pitman arm that started gradually slipping over about a month until undrivable
