loose torque converter???

This is prob. a stupid question but, is my torque converter suposed to be a little loose on the fly-wheel?
I heard a rattle type sound when i put my truck into drive today so i shut the truck off,crawled under there and I can wiggle the whole torque converter,the flywheel doesn't move though...all the bolts were a little loose so i tightened them down,is that good or are they suposed to be loose? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

They should be tight.

Do yourself a huge favor-go purchase brand new bolts, replace them all, and torque them to book spec.
