soooo, I'm converting my truck from an automatic to standard and misplaced one nut. The nut I'm missing is the one that holds the hydro clutch unit to the pedal bracket (not the resevoir). I know that the socket used is 13mm but I wasn't sure of the thread dimensions. Anyone know what I need to get? Fine/course, etc.

No idea, but 13mm socket usually means a 1/2" nut. Most are course threads, but since nuts cost only pennies, you might get both and see which works.

Eh? 13mm is right about 1/2", so if the head is ~1/2", the thread would be what, 5/16", which is maybe an 8mm thread.

And, btw, my first response would be that, in this day and age of miracles of modern medicine ... you can still have children, even if you lost a nut :haha:

Err, yea. I meant that the 13mm socket fits the same things as a 1/2" wrench. The bolt size should be 5/16".

Ha! I figured the title would get some attention! It ends up being 8mmX1.25 - everything bolted up fine.

Thanks for the help!

Yep, life is good... the hole I cut for the hydro unit to go through the fire wall isn't all that pretty, but it goes through fine and isn't too big for the flange to cover it up. Now I just need to find out how to replace the hydro hose going to the bell housing...
