Lost all interest in the K5

It's been doing that for a year now, didn't drive it once this summer, and I just have no where to put it. It's rusting away and that in itself bugs the hell out of me. The cheapest indoor storage I can find is 50 a month too.
you drove it at summer crawl....is rausch the closest thing to you??

That is a tough decesion. I used to have a '74 CJ5 about 17 years ago. I missed it when I sold it and always wished I had another one. I've built a lot of rigs to have them only parted out because they are worth more in parts, 6 last time I counted, just because I wasn't really satisfied with what I had.

If you like it and it fits your wants or needs keep it, if you don't like it and it doesn't fit your needs or wants get rid of it and then build what you want later on. Right now I have a '76 CJ5 title/tub/hood/grill waiting to be built with that parts that I want waiting to go into it.

i wouldnt give up, dont pay attention to what you dont have, or where you cant wheel, just build your truck to the truck you want. as long as you have your truck, im sure it will make you happy. just my way of looking at it!

o ya, and baby it for a while, im doing that, just because money is low and i want to get it to be a reliable truck, even though i havent wheeled in 6 monthes or more, just slowly building it, and being happy with what i have now, after that, wheel it, but still keep it going to get it home.

just park it and let it sit and see if you feel the same way in a year or so. i was the same way, i was looking around online to see what it was worth and was basicly getting ready to sell it. then we had a huge flood and the blazer saved mine and a bunch of other people a lot of headache that week. im keeping this junk forever even if i only use it to go shoping as of lately
