I am looking at doing the exact same build I have 1972 Jimmy and I want to put a 2008 Denalli 6.2 liter with the 6L80E transmission to the 205 transfer case Did yours work out okay? would you do it again? what if any change would you make. I am looking at advance adapter 50-9551B to use. They say I will have to have my transfer case front housing bored 3/16" for a larger bearing to accept the imput shaft from tranny does this sound correct? I would really like to chat with you on this project if you had some time to see what you did on engine mounts and wiring.
