Got some wheeling done today...

Headed up to TSF browns camp for some much needed wheeling, was a very good day overall, some damn nice weather. i ended up breaking my front driveshaft (gave the throttle a lil to much juice while i was pinned up against a boulder) ny buddy broke his steering rod, we got that fixed and kept goin, and as we were leaving heading home another buddy got blinded by sun and dust and flopped his rig onto its roof in the ditch, everyone was ok thank the lord.

This is right before I broke. leave t to my brother to have his big head in the way.:rolleyes:

Pretty sure in that last pic, you could buff that out!

HAHA just like in joe dirt....S*** el buff out.....why bother, But ya it waslucky it wasnt me, the sun was right in the way and the dust was terrible from the gravel road, like 0 visability.

And as we speak I am attempting to find these dang pictures of my Efan install, I can at least take pictures of switches and fan already installed.

Got a small update, Buddy of mine got a 4x4 shortbox chevy with a siezed up vortec 350, very straight and almost rust free.......FOR FREE :eek1: Did i mention the motor has an edelbrock aluminum top end kit????

So i picked up the bed (For $50) for my truck because my stepside bed is getting hammered pretty good, so my plan is to put the shortbox on my truck then use the rest of the freebie donor truck to put another buddys drivetrain and flatbed on because his frame is cracked in about 5 spots......pics to come.

I dont approve:doah:
The stepsides my favorite part man!!

But cool deal on the free truck

kewl build...how'd I miss it this long...:doah::waytogo:

Everyone misses it for some reason! lol its all good though i can't wait to get a tow rig and trailer, and then my rig is getting dove tailed and getting 44 bogger.......thats if the world doesn't end in 2012....haha

Little bit of an update, been fighting that dreaded death wobble for the last couple months, and I finally got my rig into the shop to tear into the frontend, so the damage was the driverside kingpin bushing was broken in two pieces. So I threw in a new one in and a body washer to stiffen it up a bit. I havnt drove it yet so i dont know if it fixed it, but I'm hoping...

Also sold my Completly straight and rust free shortbox for $350 bucks because I couldnt justify tearing up that nice of a bed, So im taking the $350 and buying material for a flatbed. Any suggestions on styles? Or how about what kind of tail lights to use? Has and one seen those swivel shackles? Pictures and advice welcome...

Also got the front tires off for some hot knifing action, but had to stop. Hopefully I'll get it all done soon so I can get back out on the trail because Im jonesing like a crack addict.

Gonna go threw all the lugs, and cut out the wear bears and probally get the middle to...

k5 time.

So i have made a drastic desicion....and that is to take all my running gear, steering, and suspension and scrap the rest, and throw it under a virgin k5 blazer or jimmy. The reason for this is simple, I am fed up with the death wobble, and the motor is almost dead, also I have discovered about 5 cracks in my frame....:doah:I also need room for a car seat, and gear.

My plan is to sell what I can, and scrap the rest all while keeping the dana 60/14 bolt so i dont have to start over. What I want to do is almost like what MTNblazer has, that thing is sweet :thumb:

Here is how it will go
- Dana 60/14 bolt gets 4.88s
- In goes 4spd
- 203/205 Doubler
- vortec 454
- 52s up front/ 56s out back
- keep tire size under 40", hopefully 40 ltbs

The old red truck gave a hell of a run and she never really let me down, got alot of looks and even got a couple ladies for me belive it or not, I think its just time to bury the axe with her.....

This is probally the last off road adventure with her.

I know right? So i put my 42 on craigslist for 700 obo and someone wans to trade some 38.5 tsl sx's with 80% tread, if he goes for it I could almost sell those for more....

So someone is coming out tommarow to pic up the 42s for 650 bucks, which will give me 950 total so far. Gonna sell my 6 inch leaf springs, carb which is almost new, and a few other things. That should give me enough to get my hands on a blazer. Im gonna try to kill two birds by getting a blazer with a 454.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :confused::(:(
I'm gonna feel all alone with my truck and every ones gonna have a blazer but me!!.......

Oh wait, I have a blazer..... nvm....carry on!:haha::haha::haha:
