1/2 ton status
Well I've been doing some pondering. I was having a chat with a buddy of mine earlier today and he said something that put me into a research mode.
I think I may put rockwells under my rig. But I'm not sure if I want to. I can save quite a bit of money and have my rig just exo'd instead of exo'd and linked. That would give me some money to build the rocks. I can sell my 60s and 39.5s w/ H1s and get some more money to pay for the new suspension and 53" Michs.
My concern is every rig that I have seen that is built up for offroad use and uses rocks doesn't use leaf springs. If I would put rocks I wouldn't be able to link it just put leafs on it. I figured 8" 56s up front w/ 6" 63s and 4" shackle flip. That should net around 12-15 inches total. I just don't know if I should persue this idea or not.
Anyone got pics/specs of rigs that have leafs and rocks?
