anybody know where i can get another one with out buyin a new high lift?? i also need that piece that bolts to the top used for clamping and winching.

It's $14.69 or something like that. I wouldn't use a pipe, personally, as you're talking about a cast iron product (read that as brittle) vs. a carbon steel. The pipe most likely will not warn you before you snap it and it is not designed to be loaded in flexure.

A peice of pipe will be fine. Anything that you will probaly come up with will more than likley be thicker and stronger that the wimpy one that comes with it.
