i posted a new topic today on axles, Any one know tell me what section it is moved in or post a link.

Thanks Jason

Was this the post about the axles you found? If so i just did a search and it must have been deleted as i replied on that thread and did not find it by searching posts that i've replied in or by post you have made.

The exact same thing you just read. It appears the post has been moved but hasn't been posted back up yet.

There were some concerns that the axles you "found" were on private property, so a fellow Mod moved your thread pending some clarification. For the record, publicly posting about a possible theft just isn't tolerated here at CK5.

Whoa, brother, I'm not accusing you of anything. All I'm saying is that the Mod group received some feedback about the thread and tucked it away until we were able to clear things up.

So, as far as you know, the property in question is NOT privately owned? Is there any way to find out for sure? :dunno:

If there isn't anything immoral about what you're doing, then I congratulate you on your good score!!! :thumb:

Taking something you don't own on property that isn't yours is legally considered theft. You might attempt to locate the property owner or agency and obtain approval before taking it.

If it's public property... :wink1:

People dump a lot of vehicles in the state and federal forests around here... you see some "interesting" things, that is for sure :eek1:

If it's been dumped, your doing a service hauling it out IF it is on fed/state land... Most times the forest management agencies are limited in time and manpower to clean it up. I know with WA DNR it's a non issue, they encourage it! Not sure about Canada....

Im pretty sure if its property of the state, they wouldnt mind you removing it from the land, its just garbage some illegally dumped there and theyll just have to pay more to have it removed.

I've found a few abandoned vehicles out in the bush too, frustrates me when people leave their garbage lying around. We came across a 78ish Chevy this last summer rolled about 10 meters off the road. Obviously has been there for a long time, almost picked clean, no engine or transmission.

I'll be taking my truck with the car hauler in there next summer once things have dried up, winch it out, and haul it to the scrap yard.

If it's crown land and has been dumped there, taking it out of there would be helping clean the area up. With a score like that i'd prolly bring a trailer and load up the other garbage there though...
