You really shouldn't hear anything from the pulleys/belt. I'd check their alignment and see if you have a bearing going bad. Or it could be as simple as a bad belt.
Factory original pulleys?
I had a project truck one time with the pulleys from different engines that caused many problems, noise and tossing belts until I corrected the mismatch.
I've had the loud pulley's before, it ended up being a bad bearing. I narrowed down the problem by using a piece of pipe (hard vacuum cleaner pipe ) to listen at various parts of the engine until I found the culprit.
