So I had my buddy replace all but 2 rocker arm nuts on the pass side of the 468. Well it has a nasty squeal during warmup now. I thought it was just the belts squealing but when I put my hand on the pass side valve cover I could feel something wasn't right. I'm kinda suspecting he might have overtightened one or two nuts. Is there anyway short of pulling the intake off to determine if it is the cam? Could the squealing be anything else?

It's a squeal. It lasted about 10 sec or so. Soon as I found out it was coming from the head I shut it off.

Could very easily be a rocker arm rubbing on the valve cover, seen that happen many times. Pull the cover and look for any rub marks and if any are seen try moving the valve cover slightly when you tighten it back down.
