What would cause me to have coolant loss. I thought it was the radiator cap, so I replaced it and it became better, but my coolant is still low after 2 days. I don't think its a head gasket, because I don't have any white smoke, and my spark plugs are not super clean. What do you think it could be?

I was loosing coolant out of the intake manifold at the back of the engine by the fire wall. Gasket went bad.

overflow into a cracked container? how low are we talking here?

Yea, My overflow was cracked, but i put a bottle in its place to see if that was the problem, and its still loosing coolant. Maybe about 1 gal every 2 days is how much its loosing.

Ok, Ill check that out tomorrow.

A leaking radiator (not at the cap), leaking radiator hose, leaking heater hose, or a bad intake gasket.

Could be your water pump. If they have a seal/bearing going bad they will leak out of a hole in the nose of the pump. Sometimes it only leaks when the engine is running and engine is warm.
Also could be heater core but usually that is pretty obvious. There is a coolant smell or leak inside the cab.

The heater core is disconnected cause it was leaking a while ago. So I will check the water pump and intake manifold. thanks for the replies.
