On a TBI 454. It was much more pronounced as the motor got hotter and towing. It seems to go away in 3rd gear around 35-40 MPH. It does not do it when it is cold at all. No codes either.

Any ideas on where to look first?

It sure sounds like a bad plug wire or ignition component to me. They always show up under load, at operating temperature or hotter, and can disappear at cruising speeds. I'd take a few minutes and check the wires first.....

My K5 had the EXACT same issue quite a while ago. It ended up being ONE bad wire, and it only showed up during acceleration after the truck had warmed up.

Let us know what you find.
