What method are you using to remove/install them ?...
Hydraulic press or a C-clamp style ball joint press with proper sized cups to push & receive the bushings are the best methods--even "good" A-frames aren't real thick or strong at the bushing spots, and can bend easily if not well supported..and on imports ,aluminum ones are easily cracked and ruined..(which is why most are sold as an assembly with new bushings and a riveted ball joint)..
I have fudged a few installs by burning the rubber out of the bushings with a torch and slice the outer shell with a hack saw,so it can be collapsed and removed, and I used a 1/2" drive socket as a "pusher" and a pipe coupling I had that was just big enough to let the bushing go in it,I used 1/2" threaded rod and washers to pull the bushings in..after cleaning the a-arm hole good, and applying some lube to the outer bushing shell..getting them started "straight" is important..once they go cockeyed, things can go bad fast !..
I was only able to get one A-arm done that way though--the threaded rod kept stripping and I ended up taking the other one to work and used the hydraulic press--took like 5 minutes, with no damage..vs the other "backyard" method taking an hour, with much frustration and swearing..

..
My friend's ball joint press does a good job on them,IF you can fit the press and the right cups where they need to go..if the bushing hole is too small to let the press's screw to fit thru it,your S-O-L and will have to use a bench press or the threaded rod trick..if I had larger threaded rod like 3/4" it would have worked a lot better...
