At some point, I have seen a lower kingpin cap that I am interested in. I have seached here, pirate and google but have had no luck. It looked like it was a machined piece that the bolts and zerk were recessed into. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just searched ebay and couldn't find them.

Very Nice :waytogo:

And very expensive :(

What are the two set screws on either side for??

I just punted and did this a while back.

I would bet they are jack screws to force/press the king pin out if it were to seize.

That makes sense 'cause mine were a major pain to remove (the upper kingpin was easy by comparison :( ).

If the stock ones were thicker I'd consider doing that too, but I am afraid there isn't enough meat there to drill and tap.

I always just put some never-sieze on the mating surface, & forget about it. They are never too bad to get out. I also welded a pieca of tube on the bottom to protect the alamite.

These caps are bling but I couldn't see spending that much unless I had dedenbear(splg) Knuckles.
